Martin, Peter and Lisa were part of a 5-strong team that ran a refereeing course in Chichester.

Originally aimed at Sussex judoka, the course grew and attracted judoka from all over the Southern Area (Sussex, Kent, Hampshire and Surrey) and beyond.

15 juniors (including Anna ODoherty), from 10 to 15 years, and 5 seniors attended to learn about judo's competition rules.

All 11 juniors taking their Level 1 and 2 awards passed, with the 3 taking their Level 3 and the seniors taking their Area level doing their assessments later in the year, at an event.
